George is nine years old and wants to change the world.
Today, she cycled 14.6km (10 miles for my non-metric friends) in support of Love146. You remember Love146 – we talked about them on Valentine’s Day and offered a youth work session plan and fundraising ideas to support their work.
Her goal is 100GBP (approximately 150USD) and she is halfway there! You can help by giving.
Remember Caine? He was also only nine when he made his paper arcade and now there is an entire foundation set up to help other children and youth discover their dreams.
Ghandi once said ‘Be the Change You Want to See in the World.’ We can help George ‘Be the Change’ today by just giving a little change! Give generously to help this young person change the world – you’ll be glad you did!
FYI- George’s mom (Gemma Dunning) is also a youth worker, and she’s featured on this weeks blog posts of the week.
