If you’re a regular reader, you’ll know that we publish several posts a week and have done for the last couple of years.
The next few weeks are going to be pretty busy for both Shae and I though:
- I’m off to England for a couple of weeks for work
- Shae’s going to be busy with her full-time job plus her 3 Girl Scout troops
- She’s also organizing a camping trip for 30 of them this coming weekend
- We also bought a property recently and are having it completely rehabbed, then will be moving when I’m back from England
All this hecticness means that we’re going to be taking a break from publishing new content on Youth Workin’ It for a few weeks but will start back afresh in September – which is coincidentally the two year anniversary of this blog.
In the meantime though, you’re not going to be left empty handed. For the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting some of our Hidden Gems – older posts that you might have missed the first time round.
They’re not necessarily going to be our most read posts either – instead, we’ll be highlighting some of the posts that we think will help you as a youth worker the most. These will be useful games, session plan ideas, tips for admin, best practice, motivation and more.
So make sure you keep coming back to the blog to find out what these are. An even better idea – sign up for our free email newsletter and these posts will come straight to you.
So until September, we hope have a great few weeks. I’ll be stuffing my face with all the food from the UK that I can’t get anymore because I live here in the US (or that’s too expensive to get).
And Flamin’ Hot Monster Munch – I’ll see you soon my darling.
